Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze is an exhale, a sigh of relief. The salty air where memories are pointed and perfectly preserved. Growing up, I always wanted to be an explorer sailing unknown waters to greet a new world.

This collection of images, shot on both coasts over a six year period, is about that sensation I get from coastal cities - an isolation, island-like in the way they secludes us, despite often being surround by millions of others. The calming presence of the coast connects us back to nature, ourselves and each other, searching for something that, in a way, makes us all a little bit of an explorer.
